The Ultimate Metallica - Photographs by Ross Halfin debuts in Australia on November 10th, 2010 at Blender Gallery in Sydney.

Legendary music photographer Ross Halfin has documented Metallica for nearly 25 years, from their beginnings as a furious garage band to their current status as the heaviest and most popular metal band in the world.

This exhibition The Ultimate Metallica presents the best of Halfin's amazing images, taken over the years with access granted exclusively to him as the band's main lens man. His candid photographs—taken on stage, backstage, on and off tour—perfectly record the band's history, from a unique perspective.

Ross Halfin will be at Blender Gallery for the official launch night of the book and exhibition on Friday November 12th 2010.

Blender Gallery will also host an exclusive book signing on Saturday November 13th from 11.30am - 1:30pm.
