FBI Radio announces SMAC Award winners

FBI 94.5FM's Sydney Music, Art and Culture Awards (SMACS) were held last night to honour the city's artists, venues, promoters, creators and culture makers.

Awarding originality, creativity and innovation, SMACS is held annually to celebrate the leaders, thinkers and doers of the city.

The invite-only awards show saw Cloud Control, The Jezabels and Guineafowl take top music honours.

The full list of winners include:

Best Artist: Beastman

Best Arts Event: Superdeluxe@artspace

Best Collective: Heaps Decent

Best Live Music Act: Cloud Control

Best Major Festival: Laneway Festival

Best Music Event: Changing Lanes

Best On Screen: Greedy Hen

Best Performer: Toby Schmitz in Measure for Measure

Best Sydney Song: Guineafowl, In Our Circles

Next Big Thing: The Jezabels

Record Of The Year: Cloud Control, Bliss Release

Remix The City: Art & About for Sydney Statues, Oh Alfred! and the Laneway Art project

SMAC Of The Year: Hana Shimada and Jimmy Sing from Goodgod
