The Temper Trap

Temper Trap to take US

12 March 2010

Australia's own breakout act of the past 18 months, The Temper Trap, have been named by Billboard.com as one of the 20 Bands To Watch at SXSW 2010 – the annual musical mecca held in Austin, Texas next week from the 17th to 21st. The site made comment that "Australia and the United Kingdom have already fallen for the charms of debut album, Conditions… now with Sweet Disposition breaking at modern rock, the United States is next."

The mention on the influential site added to the anticipation building in the US for the band, with Temper Trap sure to make 2010 another fantastic year following their 2009 successes: including four ARIA Award nominations (including Album Of The Year and Single Of The Year) and a Top 10 ARIA chart debut for their now certified Gold-selling album.

For those of you heading over to Austin, the boys will be performing at Lustre Pearl on Thursday night (March 18th) at 11pm.
