The Rogue Traders are writing the Socceroos' official team song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and they want you to be a part of it… literally.

The electro-pop act, in conjunction with Westfield shopping centres, plan to record fans' heartbeats for use in a new track entitled Pulse of the Nation. The recordings will happen at selected Westfields around the country from this Thursday to Sunday May 9th.

The song will be launched at the Socceroos' send-off match on Monday May 24th at the MCG and released on the Roguies' new album Night of the Living Drums, out June 25th.
