If you’re hoping Kylie Minogue will ‘pull a Glasto’ and join the Scissor Sisters on stage at their Splendour in the Grass show, don’t hold your breath.
Despite rumours last week that the pop princess would do just that (she’s in Australia doing promo for her Aphrodite album around the time of Splendour), Scissor Sister member Babydaddy (aka multi-instrumentalist Scott Hoffman) told TMN in a forthcoming interview that it was news to him too.
“If that’s true it’s a very well kept secret because it’s a secret kept even from me, but I would love it,” he told us.
Kylie joined the band on stage late last month at England’s Glastonbury festival to perform their song Any Which Way. That moment, says Babydaddy, was “magical”.
“It was just the icing on top of the cake, it was really special for us. Kylie had actually asked Jake to perform when she was planning on playing five years ago [before pulling out after being diagnosed with cancer]… so we thought it would be a really special thing to bring her onstage with us. It was amazing… we love her.”
