AC/DC will release a live DVD documenting their 2009 Black Ice World Tour on the fitting date of Black Friday, May 13. The 20-month tour trekked 108 cities in over 28 countries to over 5 million fans and won the band a Pollstar Award for Major Tour of the Year in 2010.
The DVD/Blu Ray, AC/DC Live At River Plate marks the band's return to Buenos Aires where they were met by three sold-out shows and 200,000 fans, who welcomed them back after a 13 year absence from Argentina.
AC/DC Live At The River Plate contains a bonus feature titled The Fan, The Roadie, The Guitar Tech & The Meat; the addition contains interviews with the band, their crew and fans among the shows and around the city of Buenos Aires.
Directed by David Mallet and produced by Rocky Oldman, the 110 minute footage on the DVD was shot entirely in HD by 32 cameras.
The world tour was in support of their latest album, Black Ice which debuted at #1 in Australia and 30 other countries.
