DJ Mehdi passes away

DJ Mehdi has died at age 34, while celebrating his friend DJ Riton's birthday at his Parisian home.
The accident occurred on Tuesday September 13 when a skylight in his apartment's Plexiglas floor shattered, sending Mehdi and his three friends on a seven meter drop.
The three friends who fell with DJ Mehdi are currently hospitalised. DJ Mehdi played at Parklife 2010 to a packed crowd and will be remembered for his influence within the dance community.
His label, Ed Banger Records have released a statement, which said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our friend DJ Mehdi. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones."
