Fleet Foxes lose drummer

"Farewell Fleet Fans and Friends" Fleet Foxes' drummer/guitarist Josh Tillman announced on his Tumblr while on the Seattle band's current tour of Asia.
"Back into the gaping maw of obscurity I go. Tokyo is my last show with the Foxes. Sorry if I was distant and obtuse if we ever met. Have fun," he wrote.
Although no future plans or projects have been announced, it's likely Tillman will release more material under his solo project, J. Tillman. Since his first solo album I Will Return in 2005, Tillman has released seven studio albums, his most recent is 2010's Singing Ax.
