At last year’s SXSW, Jay-Z surprised fans when he appeared onstage with Kanye West but this year is set to rival that collaboration.
Performing at the Austin City Limits theatre in the US on March 12, the rapper has announced he’s teamed with American Express to make his show an all-interactive experience for concert-goers and fans at home.
Those who can’t attend the gig can watch the live streaming on a digital billboard on the corner of 6th Street and Red River in Austin or through AMEX’s YouTube page, Twitter, Vevo and XBOX Live where it will be available in Australia from March 13 at 12pm to March 20.
AMEX has also created interactive badges for cardmembers to sync their cards with their Twitter accounts so they can choose Jay-Z’s setlist by tweeting the hashtag #Song with #JayZSyncShow. You can set up the sync here.
Another reason to tune in to the AMEX Sync Show is to see if the circulating rumours about an Eminem appearance are true.
