British rock trio, Muse are currently wrapping up the recording of sixth album The 2nd Law in London.
Produced by David Campbell (Michael Jackson, Adele, U2), the follow-up to ‘2009’s The Resistance is said to be influenced by fellow Brits Does It Offend You Yeah?, and French electronic outfit Justice; the preview track featured on the album trailer features elements of dubstep.
The switch in styles was predetermined, as bassist Chris Wolstenholme revealed in a December 2011 interview with Kerrang!: "[The band] feel like we are drawing a line under a certain period of what we've done in our career. It feels like it's time to move on and do something radically different."
