Bobbi Kristina will make her singing debut this evening on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The episode, which airs at 9pm on the Lifetime channel in the US, will see the daughter of the late Whitney Houston perform her mother’s track I'm Your Baby Tonight - the title track from Houston’s 1990 ARIA Platinum record. The single peaked at #1 in the US and Italy and #7 here in Australia.

Having previously revealed she stopped singing after her mother’s death on February 11, Bobbi Kristina has recently been working with her mother’s producer and voice coach, Ricky Minor who hopes to pass on Houston’s work ethic onto the 19-year-old.

Watch an episode teaser for the family’s reality television series The Houstons: On Our Own below, where Bobbi Kristina, and Ricky Minor discuss her forthcoming singing career.
