Injured

Sydney photographer Kirk Bolt ended with a suspected fractured hand after being attacked by one of US rapper T-Pain’s bodyguards at Sydney airport. Police interviewed the bodyguard before he returned to the US.

Hospitalised

Sydney radio 2GB's Continuous Call team member, Darryl Brohman, underwent surgery for prostate cancer.

Split

The split between Sony Music A&R chief Jay Dee Springbett and publicist Louisa McCole has been made official. The couple have two children.

In Court

ABC broadcaster Andy Muirhead made a brief appearance in the Hobart Magistrates Court over a child pornography charge, and did not enter a plea. The prosecution got a six-week adjournment to finalise statements and provide forensic images to Muirhead's lawyer.

Farewell George Sudull

Community radio broadcaster George Sudull, OAM, passed away aged 82. He was involved in the setting up of Radio 4EB (serving as its president from 1995 to 2000) and the National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters' Council (serving as its president from 1990 to 1992) and broadcast to the Polish community.
