24 May 2010
There was a lot of bustle inside the Top 5 of the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart this week. While Lady Gaga remains at #1 with Alejandro, B.o.B and Bruno Mars stole #2, pushing Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me back to #3 after spending four weeks in second position. Vanessa Amorosi and Usher found themselves in #4 and #5 respectively with their singles Mr. Mysterious and OMG.
Meanwhile Kylie Minogue debuted at #34 with All The Lovers, while 3OH!3 ft. Ke$ha's My First Kiss snuck inside the Top 50 at #50 for its first week on the chart.
Katy Perry's California Gurls was the Fastest Mover on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart the same week as it debuted at #3 on the ARIA Single Chart. B.o.B and Hayley Williams' Airplanes scored the #2 position and OMG remained in the top slot for Usher.
Taio Cruz's Break Your Heart came in at fourth on the ARIA Singles Chart, and Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP's We No Speak Americano took out fifth, climbing 12 spots off the back of their huge movement on the Airplay Charts.
It was a big week in album debuts on the ARIA Albums Chart, with Brisbane underground rockers Dead Letter Circus claiming #2 behind the unstoppable Justin Bieber, who's back with a vengeance from #5 last week.
The Rolling Stones and The Black Keys took out #6 and #8 respectively, while LCD Soundsystem scored their first ever week in the ARIA Albums Chart with This Is Happening debuting at #11.
