After pushing closer last week, Usher has taken the top spot on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart with his Platinum-certified single OMG featuring will.i.am, topping both the airplay and ARIA Singles charts.
Last week’s Hot 100 #1 artist Lady Gaga slid to #2 with Alejandro while Jason Derulo jumped from #5 to #3 with Ridin Solo.
Taio Cruz and Katy Perry finally infiltrated the Hot 100's Top 5, with Cruz’s Break Your Heart coming in at #4 (despite slipping to #7 on the ARIA charts) and Perry’s California Gurls scoring #5 (and residing at #3 on the ARIA Singles Chart).
Fastest Mover on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart went to Scarlett Belle's Closure, while the Highest Ranking New Addition went to Train's If It's Love, their follow-up to the Double-Platinum Hey, Soul Sister. The Glee Cast continue to dominate the ARIA Charts, with Glee: The Music, Volume 3, Showstoppers holding out at #1 on the Album Chart and Jessie's Girl shone as a Bullet Performer, moving from #15 to #8.
Kevin Rudolf’s I Made It (Cash Money Heros) went Platinum with only four weeks on the ARIA Singles Chart. It’s currently sitting at #25 on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart and #22 on the AIRA Singles Chart.
On the ARIA Albums Chart, Sex And The City 2 soundtrack claimed the highest debut for the week at #13. Foo Fighters’ Greatest Hits debuted at #17 and Aussie boys Midnight Juggernauts scored a Top 20 debut - just - with The Crystal Axis swooping in at #20.
