After reaching the Top 10, artists such as Erique Iglesias, Uncle Kracker and Travie McCoy have spent more than 10 weeks on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart. Decreases in spins are generally a sign that new singles are on the way. All three artists should have new tracks in the next four weeks. Can these artists get back inside the Top 10?
Despite a seemingly slow start, Ed Kowalczyk's Grace continues to snowball. His spins continue to rise over AirCheck stations - last Thursday AirCheck reported a 27.3% increase for Grace over the week before - and he has been highlighted as a Fast Mover on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart for the past three weeks. Last week alone, Grace jumped from #27 to #16.
With the help of Provincial and Regional stations Kowalczyk will continue to climb. Grace has had fewer Metropolitan stations reporting additions than any track in the 15 tracks higher on the chart (with the exception of Travie McCoy's Billionaire, which also has a count of 11). Ed is in the country later this year for a national tour, which could help him pick up a few more Metros.
Little Red are due for their TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart debut. Rock It has managed a place in the TODAY Network's Hot 30 - effectively doubling the Metropolitan stations backing the track.
Rock It has been hovering in the Breakers chart (tracks on the verge of debuting on the TMN Hot 100) for weeks. It will be great to see Little Red convert their alternative radio-play (29 weeks on TMN Alternative Airplay Chart) into commercial airplay.
