For the first time in ARIA Awards history, the public are now able to vote for four of the awards.
From today, music fans can cast their vote on their favourite in Most Popular Australian Single, Most Popular Australian Album, Most Popular International Artist and Most Popular Australian Artist.
The nominee’s for Most Popular Australian Single, Album and International Artist have been selected based on top selling singles and album in the period of August 28, 2009 to August 21, 2010. The nominee’s chosen for the Most Popular Australian Artist category are taken from the finalists in 26 categories for this year’s awards. These selections exclude the ARIA Artisan Award nominees.
To vote, head to the official ARIA Awards website. The first round of voting for the top five nominees finishes Thursday October 28. The top five in each category will be announced Sunday October 31 when public can vote again for their favourite. Polls will be open until 11:59pm on November 6 and the winners will be announced at the ARIA awards the following night on Network Ten on November 7.
