Sydney indie/dance label, touring agency and publisher Future Classic has signed a global publishing administration deal with Kobalt Music Australia.
It’s Kobalt’s third signing after Icehouse and Art vs Science.
Future Classic’s roster includes LA duo Poolside, Brisbane disco-pop four-piece Mitzi and Perth tropical-pop band Scenic. They’ve recently toured artists including Little Dragon, Holy Ghost!, Tensnake, Joakim and Pantha Du Prince and popular weekly club night, Adult Disco. They also run their advertising-industry focused music licensing service, Stylus (whereismystylus.com.
Nathan McLay, Managing Director for Future Classic, said: "Kobalt provides our artists an unrivalled collection infrastructure to complement our global relationships with ad agencies, music supervisors, labels and managers.
