TMN HOT 100 AIRPLAY CHART

Holding strong with spins still climbing, Adele's Rolling In The Deep holds on for another week, even with her followup, Someone Like You charging up the charts, from #37 to #20.

Coldplay, who aren't suffering the perils of having two tracks in the Top 20, outdid Adele in terms of track progress. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall made the jump from #58 to #18 in its second week on the chart. It's not since Viva La Vida that Coldplay have hit the #1 position on the Hot 100. With the multi-format momentum building (now with more P1 support than any track in the Top 10), can they finally get back on top?

Christina Perri's Jar Of Hearts jumped 35 positions this week, not to mention, finding itself in the rankings of Most Added once again. How many weeks will it take to crack the Top 20?

The Most Added track of the week, Pete Murray's Always A Winner also managed to be the highest ranking new addition to the Hot 100 this week, clocking in at #68, only a few positions above another SME entrant (and the only other track to debut this week), Britney Spears' I Wanna Go which entered at #74.

ARIA TOP 50 SINGLES CHART

It has been a while since a song has managed to clock ten consecutive weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles chart. Not since 2006, in fact, when Sandi Thom's Wish I Was A Punk Rocker With Flowers In My Hair managed to do it. If it this week's #1, LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem, featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock, can hold on for another two weeks, it will match the longest running chart topper of the century, Eminem's Lose Yourself. That is pretty incredible and crazily enough, it even seems possible.

At the same time as this record matching #1 single, Adele continues her domination of all charts, everywhere. She has snared once again, the #3 and #4 positions, with her singles, Someone Like You and Rolling In The Deep. The tracks traded places this week, letting the former steal a new Highest Position of #3, after darting from #17 to #4 last week.

There are also a few new faces appearing in the business end of the chart. Stan Walker's Loud has cracked the Top 10, leaping from #18 to #9, but someone is hot on his tails. Chritina Perri's Jar Of Hearts, which has spent half as much time on the chart (a tiny three weeks) has pushed from #23 to #12. Can this powerhouse chart debut overtake an Australian favourite?

ARIA TOP 50 ALBUMS CHART

With such amazing things happening on the ARIA Singles chart, it would be easy to brush over the fact that two independent releases, Adele's 21 (Inertia) and City And Colour's Little Hell (Shock) are sitting on top of the ARIA Albums chart. Congratulations.

Also inside the Top 5, Seeker Lover Keeper stuck it out, only falling one position from the #3 debut last week. Last week's debut from Arctic Monkeys (which clocked only one position lower) fell this week to #10.

City And Colour's aforementioned #2 debut was followed by others. All Time Low's Dirty Work entered at #13, above another debut; Carrie Underwood's Play On, at #14. Further below at #22, saw Aloe Blacc's Good Things make an appearance.
