Gotye Teams Up With Alberts Publishing

Wally De Becker, aka Gotye (aka Yeezy) has signed a publishing deal with Alberts. Alberts will manage the publishing for his entire solo catalogue, ranging from his debut album Boardface (2003) to his chart topping double-Platinum album Making Mirrors (2011). Gotye was catapulted into the mainstream last year with that little song Somebody I Used to Know with Kimbra.
“We’re thrilled to have Wally’s Gotye works published by Alberts” says Alberts CEO David Albert. “We have a high respect for his creativity and integrity as a songwriter and artist and look forward to helping develop further prospects for all the wonderful Gotye songs”.
Alberts and Wally already have a history of working together, with Alberts handling the publishing for De Backer’s band The Basics.
