Studios 301 announce six more production facilities

Studios 301 have announced that six new music production studios will be available to occupy from next month at their Alexandria complex in Sydney’s inner-west.

The new studios will make 301 one of the largest studio complexes in the world.

Each production studio is self-contained and is made up of a 22sqm control room and a 3.6sqm recording booth.

The acoustics of the control room have been expertly treated for a flat and natural response and the recording booth has been deadened for uncoloured recording of vocals and instruments.

The music production studios are located right next door to the mastering studios at Studios 301 and close to the main recording studios.

Occupants have access to the studios 24 hours a day and also have use of 301’s shared lounges, kitchen, bathrooms and reception.

Three of the production studios have already been snapped up before the October launch with the remaining three available at a cost of $2200 per month, plus GST.

Kanye West, Lana Del Rey and U2 have all worked on projects at the studios in recent years and 301 hope the new additions will encourage more producers, engineers, artists, composers and songwriters to use the space.
