Molly Meldrum clearly isn't down with the Hilltop Hoods (and called Guy "Gay Sebastian"); Russell Brand was hilarious and literate; Taylor Swift incited riots across all generations (also, her hair was amazing); and Nicki Minaj doesn't know what a monorail is, it would appear from her backstage interview with Jabba.
The ARIAs were a smashing success, and not surprisingly Gotye, Australia's biggest musical export since Kylie, was the big winner on the night, taking out Album Of The Year, Best Male Artist, Best Pop Release and Best Australian Live Act.
All the winners are listed below, including Ivan Gough and Feenixpawl, who managed to thank J-fo, mo-fo and L-fo before their mothers. Yet, Russell Brand brings his mum along to present an award, and he's the controversial one.
