She hinted at it two weeks ago and now US pop superstar Katy Perry has confirmed her hotly-anticipated Australian tour for 2011.
The Teenage Dream singer bring her California Dreams tour to arenas in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide next April-May.
After a huge social media push, Perry's second album Teenage Dream debuted at #1 on the ARIA Album Charts in late August and currently sits at #10. Her third Firework debuts at #20 on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay this week.
Perry was last here in August on a quick promo tour, performing one-off concerts for the Mastercard Music Series and the Sunrise breakfast program on Channel Seven amid giant cupcakes and candy canes on-stage.
In other news, the singer, who turns 26 today, and celebrity fiance Russell Brand, 35, were married last Saturday in a hindi ceremony at a luxury resort in Rajasthan.
