Sydney pop-rockers Amy Meredith are set to tour nationally through May and June on a 17-date jaunt over six weeks.
They'll be supported by fellow Sydneysiders, pop-punk outfit Tonight Alive, who recently recorded their debut album in LA with producer Mark Trombino (Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World). It's due out midway through this year.
The Higher Education tour is Amy Meredith’s only one for 2011 and will promote their 2010 debut record, Restless, which includes Platinum-selling single, Lying and their latest offering, Faded White Dress.
Before they hit the road, the quintet’s frontman Christian Lo Russo and guitarist Joel Chapman will head to the US next month to write new material for the bands sophomore album.
Later this year, after Amy Meredith will relocate to LA to record the next album.
