KISS to head to Australia next year

17 January 2012

by Nathan Jolly

This year has barely started, however KISS manager Doc McGhee has told The Music Network that the stadium rockers will be heading down under in 2013.

McGhee, who has managed the careers of Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Guns ‘n’ Roses… and Adam Brand, is currently on the promotional trail with blues rock band Vintage Trouble, who are playing five dates in Australia, beginning next week. When asked last week by TMN whether Kiss have plans to come to Australia McGhee replied, “Yes, next year. 2013.”

There is obviously no word yet as to how far along the plans are, but the tour will be the band’s first visit to Australia since 2003. It’s also too early to tell how this will affect the fortunes of Kisstroyer, who bill themselves as Australia’s Hottest Kiss Tribute.
