Four years since their sold-out national tour in 2007, Evanescence have announced a five-date tour set for this March.
Tickets for all dates from March 23 – 29 go on sale from 9am next Thursday (February 9). Tickets for the Sydney show can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com.au with all other tickets through www.ticketek.com.au.
The Arkansas quintet released their self-titled third album last year through EMI offshoot Wind Up Records. The album brought the band’s cumulative record sales in Australia to over 600,000 and the record’s first single What You Want reached #1 on the Billboard Chart.
Supporting Evanescence will be the side project of AFI frontman Davey Havok and guitarist Jade Puget. In 2007 under electronic venture Blaqk Audio, Havok and Puget released debut album Cexcells. A sophomore release Bright Black Heaven will be out in late 2012.
