Lana Del Rey is in such high demand these days that the Internet phenomenon has unexpectedly had to postpone her forthcoming Australian tour dates.
The official announcement follows the confirmed cancellation of her SXSW Festival performance as well as the alleged rumours that Del Rey’s 30-date US tour will also be rescheduled. Lana Del Rey's management has dismissed the New York Post's report that the disparaging criticism of her recent Saturday Night Live performance prompted the postponement of her spring tour through the States.

The headline-grabbing Video Games singer is yet to announce the re-scheduled dates for her two-show stint in Sydney and Melbourne, but all ticket holders will be granted refunds and priority booking for the new "more extensive" dates.
According to the Australian press release, "Lana is looking forward to her maiden Australian visit and sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused."
Lana Del Rey's debut album (of sorts) Born To Die is currently sitting at #1 and #2 on the iTunes Australia album charts (deluxe editions are able to chart separately on iTunes charts).
