With over 100 venues signed up for tomorrow's National SLAM Day, we have curated our pick of the SLAM events happening around the country.
SLAM Day (Save Live Australian Music) began in 2010 when over 20,000 music lovers marched down Swanston Street in Melbourne in protest of harsh Victorian liquor licensing laws.
Now with a national focus, the day is a celebration of how vital live venues are to the careers of Aussie musicians. According to SLAM organisers, “This will be the first time so many venues have simultaneously supported a single cause.”
Check the list below and get along to a SLAM event.
