A 23-year-old man has been arrested following the stabbings of nine people during a Swedish House Mafia show in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday July 7 according to MTV.com.

Raymond Donnan was arrested by Irish police in connection with the incident that saw up to four people stabbed and another five injured in a melee involving knives and broken bottles; three victims were seriously injured with another still in a critical condition. Donnan was charged with assault causing harm, possession of a knife, violent disorder and public order offences in Dublin Central Court on Monday July 9.

Swedish House Mafia released a statement about the incident on their Facebook page, which reads:

"We played a festival in Ireland at the weekend and reports of incidents are coming to us. We didn't see anything but have asked for all the info and are respectful of the promoter's need to wait and give us all the clear facts. When we know more we will liaise with the Festival promoter directly on what we can do to help but for now we have to respect their request to us that we remain quiet and respectful of their event safety processes. The festival itself was amazing and we had no idea this had happened and neither did the other numerous artists who played. Once we know all the facts we will deal with it in the best way we can. Thank you. Swedish House Mafia."

The event was tarred with another tragedy when it was announced a 20-year-old man died of a suspected drug overdose. The show, which was part of the Swedish House Mafia farewell tour also featured Calvin Harris and Tinie Tempah on the bill.
