Nova drive show break caller record

In some of the more out-there news of late, the Nova Network drive team Ryan, Monty & Wippa yesterday broke the Guinness Book of Records for the most callers in 60 minutes.

After a furious hour of phoning between 5pm and 6pm, the Melbourne-based trio were bombarded with 11,000 calls and managed to put 105 of them to air including calls from celebrities including Michael Klim, Home and Away’s Ray Meagher and MTV socialite Ruby Rose.

With two official Guinness Records timekeepers and two official witnesses present, the show had three producers frantically manning the phones.

The results will now be submitted with relevant documentation to the Guinness Book of Records for verification.
