Austereo has announced Adam Lang as the new Sydney General Manager.
Lang has been acting GM for the past three months overseeing the running of 2Day FM and Triple M. He started with Austereo in July 2007 in the role of National Inventory Manager, then moving to the position of National Operations Director early this year.
He will hold a dual title - Austereo Sydney General Manager / National Operations Director, carrying over major aspects of his previous role.
Austereo CEO Guy Dobson said, “Adam Lang has always been a stellar performer within our company, all the staff love him – except for one person who shall remain nameless. His understanding of both content and sales make him an inspired choice for Austereo’s Sydney business.”
Lang said, “I am honoured to be appointed to the role and very excited by the challenge of running such prestigious brands as 2Day and Triple M Sydney. The other challenge is to find out who that one person is and win them over.”
