In The Loop is a political satire. The plot swings between leaders of America and the UK looking to launch a war in the Middle East, and the struggles of government officials as they battle whether they are for or against the plan, or each other. Shot in a mockumentary manner, In The Loop seems an accurate portrayal of the way our leaders would act whilst out of the public eye. This movie is a spin off of the BBC series The Thick Of It, and should direct newcomers back to this underrated series.
