Reporting to the CEO, the Managing Director, Australia is primarily responsible for optimizing customer acquisition and retention across all market segments for the AUS/NZ territory. This role will lead business development efforts and drive revenues for the Songtradr platform. You will approach prospective clients across all sales channels, measure effectiveness of these channels, regularly report on KPIs and be responsible for the achievement of growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a positive, driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
Meet regularly with and report to the CEO.
Assume full responsibility for the sales, strategic and operational success in the Territory.
Manage the day-to-day Australian operation for Songtradr.
Represent Songtradr at industry events, conferences and meetings.
Present Songtradr to prospective clients throughout the Territory.
Regularly assess sales tactics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Forecast, monitor and modify as needed in all sales channels to ensure the greatest sales result.
Collaborate and interact with US and UK teams.
Strong relationship with the Advertising community.
High-level music industry relationships.
Minimum of 3+ years of management experience in a creative, media, entertainment or music-related business.
Experience in B2B and B2C demand generation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or similar field preferred.
Prior experience assembling, managing and growing a team highly desirable.
Experience scaling companies through online and offline sales channels.
Experience managing the sales funnel pipeline using a CRM system for tracking.
Ability to self-direct, identify issues, make recommendations and resolve problems in real time.
Proven organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated success in high-level negotiations.
Good listener, detail oriented and impeccable follow up skills.
Drive to identify and act on opportunities that yield positive results.
Strong analytical skills and experience using modern analytics and business intelligence platforms.
