Amrap Chart Wrap: Emily Wurramara Tops Amrap Regional and Metro Chart

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week seesEmily Wurramara take the top spot in both charts.

Emily Wurramara is slaying in both the Amrap Regional and Metro Charts, topping both with the title track to her new EP Black Smoke. Emily recently dropped by PBS FM Melbourne for a chat and a live performance of her previous single Ngerraberrakernama (Wake Up) from the EP. The song has picked up airplay all over at stations including Mid FM in TAS, Radio Dungog, 2AIR FM and 2BACR in NSW, Tjuma Pulka FM, Radio Goolarri and Larrkardi Radio in WA, OCR FM, Triple R and 3WBC in VIC, as well as Fleurieu FM, Tribe FM, Umeewarra Media and 5GTR FM in SA.

Ben Mitchell takes #10 in the Amrap Regional Chart with his song in support of #KeepCommunityRadio. Last year Ben stopped bySouthern FM in VIC to play a 17 track live set as part of the station’s Sunday Sessions podcast.
