Amrap Chart Wrap: Middle Kids and Backsliders Top Community Radio Charts
The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week seesMiddle Kids and The Backsliders take out the top spots.
Fresh from winning FBi Radio’s Northern Lights Competition, Middle Kids have risen meteorically to #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Your Love. Listen here to the band’s utter disbelief as they received the news from FBi’s music director Stephen Goodhew. The trio are no strangers to their hometown station, having also appeared on The Bridge with Lachlan Wyllie earlier this year.
The Backsliders have held onto #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart with You are not Alone. Listenback to Dom, Rob and Ian from the band guest programming 2SER Sydney’s Dirt Music with Stuart Coupe, also treating listeners to a live-to-air performance.
