Amrap Chart Wrap: Teeth and Tongue and Dallas Frasca Top Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Teeth & Tongue(pictured) and Dallas Frasca take the top spots.

Teeth and Tongue have ascended to #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Turn, Turn, Turn, having picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and Edge Radio Hobart’s new music list. Listen back to her stripped-back mini-set on Triple R’s Breaking and Entering, live from The Forum at Melbourne International Film Festival.

Dallas Frasca have also climbed to #1 in the Amrap Regional stakes with Wasting Time. Watch footage of the Melbourne three-piece performing the wailing single live in Paris as featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including Heritage FM and Harvey Community Radio in WA, and Phoenix FM, 3MDR and Inner FM in VIC.

Rainbow Chan has entered the Amrap Metro Chart at #2 with Work. Her new album Spacings has picked up Album of the Week on her hometown station FBi Radio as well as Feature Record on RTR FM Perth. The Preatures are still going strong in the Amrap Regional Chart, taking #3 with I Know a Girl. The single picked up a spot in FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list and has amassed further airplay across the country at stations including Fraser Coast FM in QLD, Alex FM in SA, Tjuma Pulka FM and Noongar Radio in WA, Hot FM, UG FM and 3WBC in VIC, as well as Port Stephens FM, 2SWR, 2SSR, 2MCR and 2RRR in NSW.

Rebel Yell has broken into the Amrap Metro Charts at #3 with Take Away. Her new Mother of Millions EP from which the single springs is featured on her hometown station 4ZZZ’s Brisbane’s Top 20 most-played list. The dark tech producer is featured in Amrap’s AirIt’s special BIGSOUND playlist, featuring artists showcasing at the annual music conference and festival.

Archie Roach has risen to #3 in the Amrap Regional Chart with It’s not Too Late. Watch the visually spectacular video clip – shot on Archie’s mother’s country, the lands of the Gunditjmara peoples in south-west Victoria – as featured via Amrap Pages. Victorian songwriter D.D Dumbo enters the Amrap Metro Chart at #5 with Walrus having picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list.
