Kinderling announces radio show with Chris Taylor and HG Nelson

The first national radio station focused on kids and grown-‐ups – Kinderling Kids Radio – is bringing an exciting new family sport show called ‘We Was Robbed’ to Saturday mornings (8am to 10am) from February 6, hosted by Chris Taylor and HG Nelson.

Celebrating the rite of passage that is kids’ weekend sport (and the grown-‐ups that drive them around), HG and Chris will serve up a two-‐hour live show full of news, topical talk and off-‐side humour every Saturday from 8-‐10am. Plus expect interviews with superstars, super-‐coaches, big names and little legends kicking goals around the country.

Chris Taylor said, “All my life I’ve dreamed of co-‐hosting a radio show with Sam Frost. But until that dream’s realised, I guess I’ll have to settle for HG Nelson.”

HG Nelson said, “We Was Robbed will waddle around the world of sport digging into scores, revealing the latest training techniques, finding the right pair of big shorts and illuminating the tricky art of cutting up a half time orange. (All parents think that’s easy, but it’s not.)”

HG Nelson is famously known for his role as half of sports comedy duo ‘Roy and HG’, who presented the long running show ‘This Sporting Life’ on triple j. They also presented the hugely successful Olympic broadcasts ‘The Dream’, ‘The Ice Dream’ and ‘The Dream in Athens’ for Channel 7.

Writer and performer Chris Taylor is best known as a member of TV’s The Chaser team who have been creating television programs such as ‘The Chaser’s War on Everything’, ‘CNNNN’ and ‘The Hamster Wheel’ on ABC TV. Taylor has also presented radio shows on triple j including the drive program ‘Today Today’ and the ARIA Award winning comedy series ‘The Blow Parade’.
